I am a Yorkshire girl with a Dutch - Indonesian father.

I have lived in and around Scarborough most of my life and support a daughter, two horses, six cats and soon a puppy!!

Until recently family activities have left little or no time to challenge my creative side, which has always been an important part of my life.

After completing a 4 year course in specialised paint effects with Askham Bryan College, York. I have focused mostly on faux marbling.

I love the look and feel of natural marble as it is a very tactile material with great depth to it, and there are so many different types to choose from. A well placed piece of marble can add interest and elegance to any interior or exterior setting. In fact, marbling fits well into both period and contemporary design.

My business was launched at the beginning of 2007 and I use a small converted outhouse at my home in West Ayton, North Yorkshire for my work.

I work predominantly in acrylic paints and finish each piece with a minimum of 10 coats of exterior varnish.

If you have a small piece of furniture or an artefact that is looking a bit tired, I am happy to revive it and make it beautiful once more with the marble of your choice.
